ART: WATERFALLS AND THE CITY.
Newsweek Article. Appropriated Title. Personal Opinion.
I am no expert on Art. I am bored when I have been in an Art Gallery.
I have been in one art gallery.
I have no memories of the art work.
I am more logical, mathematical, analytical.
Art is more about emotion and feelings.
Guys like me in the military or former military do not see the value in this field.
It serve's a purpose of some sort, but cognitively I do not get it.
A personal failure? No, just a lack of interest.
I like to stay home on the weekends and watch the news, sports, or entertainment. Go to a restaurant or movie or both.
I do not feel like spending my time looking at statutes, paintings, or other such stuff.
I say let people decide for themselves on this point.
I just wonder if the federal government should subsidize art for arts sake.
In essence, life is what you make of it, but should we subsidize art or should we subsidize all forms of enterntainment.
