ENVIRONMENT: GLOBAL WARMING AND SCARY WEATHER.
Newsweek: Article Title. Personal Opinion.
Global Warming has convinced a lot of people that action need's to be taken to remedy the situation.
This might be akin to the acid rain debate of the 1970s.
At that point in time, changes were made to correct 90% of the problem without major inconvenience to corporations or the public.
From what I remember, their were technological innovations that were cost effective, but the problem remained a scar.
Meaning, those purists out there who want complete elimination of greenhouse gases are not going to get their way.
The Public will buy into the necessary changes, but their not going to buy a $50000 car.
In essence, technological innovation should proceed and will most likely produce the solution to global warming. A 90% solution that is cost effective whereas 10% of greenhouse gases will require too much cost to get rid of in any way, shape, or form.
