ZIMBABWE.
Robert Mugabe has been president of that country since 1979.
He is a communist and his policies are tearing that country apart.
I know that because I read The Economist Magazine.
I do not agree with them on their solutions to problems, but their factual information is topnotch.
The population of Zimbabwe is illiterate.
That means they will respond to a communist approach and public relations, until they are educated.
Its a former British Colony that had a lot of good points to start after the Civil War was finished.
However, Mugabe and his cronies have turned the country upside down in terms of economic development.
From what I have seen and read, Communist Governments are good at stabilizing a country, developing education institutions, developing health care systems, and generally laying the groundwork for progress inside a war torn nation.
Eventually, a middle class emerges and rebels against government controls and corruption.
Unfortunately, Zimbabwe has not followed this path and may need to remove Robert Mugabe from power to get started.
