Marshall Plan for the Middle East
Bush wants to build up the Middle East Economically through an infusion of hundreds of billions of dollars of Western Money.
He likens it to Western Europe after WW II.
That makes sense if you follow his logic.
It does not make sense when you look at the facts.
Middle Eastern Nations are awash in oil money so if they want to build up their economies that their business.
Middle Eastern Terrorist Groups would bomb any factories we would build.
Bush is a man of the Gospels who believes it is a sacred duty to give freely of yourself.
He has poured how much of our money and not his into Iraq.
He's got his personal interest intertwined with our national interest. He thinks he represents both.
Western Nations have not put much in terms of reconstruction money into Iraq for their own reasons.
The United States is deep in debt to begin with so he is not in any position to ask for more money.
If I was a member of Congress, I would file a bill restricting money flows into Iraq, until after January 21, 2009.
Its better to wait Bush's term out on this point by blocking him instead of confronting him.
Christian Charity is a personal thing rather than a government thing.
