Lawmakers at any level are not by nature risk takers.
Executive Politicians are by nature risk takers.
Libertarian Republicans embrace both approaches.
Libertarians are risk takers on the whole gamut of issues.
Republicans prefer to conserve what exists at almost any cost.
Libertarians usually have the music, but are a minority.
Republicans have numbers are not as interested in ideas.
Libertarian Republicans belief in the constitution, ideas, and conserving what is best in the system.
A dual track thought process that is not easily quantifiable.
Libertarians may try different things to see what works from a conservative view point, while Republicans prefer to bulldoze ahead.
Both approaches have their individual merits.
Libertarian Republicans trying to creatively rollback the welfare state, keep social control to a minimum, and maintain a self-defense posture in foreign policy as much as possible.
